While DIVERT is all about having fun, we’re not messing around when it comes to your health and safety. In fact, we strive to be on the forefront of creating a safe and sanitary environment for you and the rest of our guests. Here’s what you need to know

COVID PRECAUTIONS

SHOW UP SQUEAKY CLEAN

Shower, wash your hands and wear recently laundered clothes - we know we sound like your mom.

BOOK ONLINE, EVERY TIME

In order to reduce person to person interactions, it is much safer to purchase your tickets online and our online store supports purchase of all ticket types and products!

FACE COVERINGS

Guests are required to wear facemasks in all areas except those specific designated for action sports, eating or drinking.

GROUP SIZE

While we usually abide by “the more the merrier” mantra, for now we are limiting group sizes to 10 people from the same household.

CHECK IN

All guests will be subject to temperature checks. Any guest showing COVID-19 symptoms will be kindly asked to return when they can show a negative test result or will be issued a refund.

STAFF SAFETY

All staff members will undergo a health screening upon arrival to ensure they are safe to work and will wear a mask in required areas.

NEXT LEVEL CLEANING

Numerous sanitizing stations are located throughout the park. Gear, tables and seating areas are meticulously cleaned and sanitized after each use. High touch areas are frequently wiped down. We even measure the sanitization levels of our wave machine each hour to ensure maximum safety.

MOBILE F&B ORDERING

Use your phone camera to scan the QR code and you can order from our menu.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

All guests not in the same group are required to stand 6 feet apart in queues and throughout the park. Groups are required to stay in specifically designated “group zones”.

CLEANLINESS KITS

DIVERT will provide facemasks to any guests that forgot theirs as well as hand sanitizer and health and safety information at the entry. .

THE EXTREME CLEAN CHALLENGE

Guests can upgrade masks and kits which automatically enters them into DIVERT’s Extreme Clean Challenge. Submit your photos and videos of you rocking your DIVERT facemask to the "Extreme Clean Challenge" in DIVERT's Challenges App to win some epic rewards.

SAFETY

MAINTENANCE & UPKEEP

DIVERT Maintenance Staff prevents negligence by performing daily checks on machinery and equipment. Monthly service appointments ensure machinery is safe and in working order.

FIRST AID PROCEDURE

First Aid Staff will ensure guests are safe, calm, and prepped for a smooth transfer off-site if needed.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

DIVERT staff will be trained to recognize an emergency situation, what to do once it has been identified, and how to assist guests in the appropriate manner

SERVICE ANIMALS

Many people require the support of a service animal. DIVERT Staff will be trained to identify service animals vs. imitators, interact with owners and their animals, and handle out of control service animals.

DISABILITY ASSISTANCE

Every guest must be treated like a person, rather than a liability. That’s why DIVERT has SOP’s for accommodating guests with nearly any physical and mental disability.

SUSTAINABILITY

GUEST EDUCATION

We will use the facility to teach guests the importance of environmental stewardship If they want to surf in a clean ocean, snowboard on real snow and skate in clean streets they must act now.

RECYCLE & COMPOST

DIVERT will minimize paper use by leveraging technology, and we will strive to be a zero-plastics facility by electing to use biodegradable products for our F&B service. Use of environmentally friendly cleaning supplies will be a focus.
