DIVERTsessions is an Exciting New Action Sports Destination for All Ages, Skill Levels and Backgrounds, Featuring a Snow Hill, Wave Pool and Skatepark plus Creative Arts Lab, Food and Beverage Options, Events Stage, and Brand Activations
(Orange County, Calif. -- April 6, 2021) - With a mission to make action sports and creative education more accessible to urban populations, an exciting new action sports destination is coming to Orange County this Summer. DIVERTbrands announced it will launch its first action sports entertainment pop-up, DIVERTsessions, targeting a June opening date that will kick-off a three-month run. The event location and exact dates will be announced soon. The DIVERTsessions pop-up park provides action sports and creative skill sessions for everyone ages 5 and up (other limits may apply). Guests can ski or snowboard on the 15-foot high, 100-foot long Ski and Snowboard Hill, catch the perfect wave on the FlowRider Wave Machine, learn new tricks in the skatepark/scooter area (where movable obstacles are constantly changing for maximum skill progression) or participate in a Creative Lab Session to explore different creative outlets and develop skills such as videography, music production, digital and street art.
There will be a limited number of session tickets available each day, with reservations placed in advance on www.DIVERTsessions.com when tickets go on sale. Capacity is capped during each session to ensure each guest is given the best possible experience.
For friends, family and chaperones who’d rather watch the action and grab a bite, Spectator Passes are free, with the exception of special events and concerts, and grant access to viewing, dining, brand showcases and other public areas within the park.
“DIVERTsessions will be an action sports and creative stomping ground for everyone, no matter their skill level, age, or socio-economic background,” said Zach Adamson, Founder and CEO of DIVERTbrands. “By offering an all-in-one action sports experience in an urban location, we can introduce more kids from more backgrounds to these offerings. The goal is to DIVERT youths' attention towards a positive, supportive community that will teach them valuable life skills so they can “Achieve Their I’mpossible” and be stoked while doing it!”
All activities at DIVERTsessions are offered in beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, to accommodate most ages and skill levels. DIVERT Guides will be present throughout the park at every activity, to offer advice, tips, and tricks to help guests progress their skills.

Adamson moved from Denver to Keystone, Colorado where action sports like mountain biking and snowboarding transformed him from a lost youth into a motivated athlete and role model. After attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, Zach worked closely with executives from

David grew up outside of Chicago where action sports kept him away from drugs, gangs and other negative influences. He attended CU Boulder and was a sponsored skateboarder and snowboarder. After working as an architect for 5-years, David led successful projects for some of today’s top consumer brands and helped launch various startups in media, entertainment, technology and action sports.
